Bhagwan Bharose ("we", "our", "us") is a Vaishnava spiritual companion app operated by BonBern Think Tank Studio Private Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Bhagwan Bharose mobile application ("App").

3. How we use your information
- Provide accurate Panchang (astrological calendar) data based on your location.
- Track your japa (chanting) sessions and spiritual progress.
- Display relevant Vaishnava festivals, Ekadashi reminders, and parana timings.
- Enable community features (posts, comments, chat).
- Improve app stability via anonymized crash reports.
- Send notifications for festivals, Ekadashis, and parana times (only if you enable them).
4. Data storage & security
Your data is stored securely using:
- Firebase Authentication — encrypted credential storage.
- Cloud Firestore — encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Firebase App Check — protects APIs from unauthorized access.
- Local Room Database — on-device storage for offline access.
5. Third-party services
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, analytics, crash reporting.
- Google Play Services — In-app reviews, Play Integrity.
- Cloudflare R2 — Image CDN for wallpapers.
6. Data retention & deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account, or via our hosted deletion page. Upon deletion:
- Your Firestore profile and associated data are permanently removed within 30 days.
- Your Firebase Authentication account is deleted.
- Community posts authored by you remain but are anonymized.
- Local app data is cleared on the next app reinstall.
7. Children's privacy
Bhagwan Bharose is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.
8. Your rights
Under applicable data protection laws including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
